Research and Innovation and Development Consortium in partnership with Center for Promoting Entrepreneurship Association and International Hellenic University, Special Account For Research Funds organizes an online contest for the best applicable innovative idea under the project "Inno Wave", funded by the Cooperation Programme INTERREG V-A Greece-Bulgaria 2014-2020.

Who can participate?

Both Bulgarian and Greek individuals and legal entities can participate in the campaign.

How does participation work?

Fill in a short application form (there is a version in Bulgarian and English) and send it by 5:30 p.m. on 19.05.2023.

If necessary, the Commission may request additional documents.

Evaluation criteria:

- Realism and clarity of the innovative idea;

- Novelty of the innovation arising from the idea;

- Time to realize the idea;

- Means for realization of the idea;

- Competitive advantages of the idea in the regional/national competitive ones;

- Direct effect on the region (Thessaloniki, Kavala, Serres, Xanthi (Greece) and Blagoevgrad, Haskovo, Kardzhali, Smolyan (Bulgaria);

- Availability of market potential;

- Indication of a specific market for the realization of the future innovative idea;

- Additional benefits for society (environmental friendliness, social responsibility, etc.);

- Opportunities for partnerships in the implementation of the innovative idea;

- Global impact

What the winner of the contest gets:

Depending on the project, the award may include professional advice and assistance for the development of a business plan and project and/or use of the infrastructure of Sofia Tech Park JSC in order to implement the project and/or participate in an event organized by Sofia Tech Park JSC.

The contest will start on 02.05.2023 with a deadline for participation till 5:30 on 19.05.2023.

After the evaluation, the commission will announce the winner of the contest till 31.05.2023 on the official page of the project and on the pages of the project in social networks.
